Data warehouse and data mining — teacher assistant
I'm a
I am a physicist passionate about exploring the intersection of science and technology through machine learning. Beyond my work, I like to perform volunteer activities, stay with friends, and keep an eye open around me.
As I look around the world, I am aware of the many challenges we face. Rather than simply complain, I try to take action in whatever way I can. While I do not have all the answers, I believe that each of us can make a difference by doing our small part. Although I know I cannot change the world single-handedly, I strive to do my best, and I hope my efforts will inspire others to do the same. Together, we can work towards a better future.
I'm currently a PhD student at the Department of Control and Computer Engineering at Politecnico di Torino. My research interest relates to theory-based machine learning strategies, i.e. the integration of data-agnostic prior knowledge to deep learning models to enhance their predictions.

I attended NeurIPS 2025 in San Diego, presenting a workshop paper. Thanks for all the amazing discussions and connections made!
Started a position as Researcher (RTD-A) at the Department of Control and Computer Engineering, Politecnico di Torino.
Defended my PhD thesis on theory-guided data science models (Politecnico di Torino).
I presented part of my research work at the University of Cambridge, UK on September 26, 2024. The talk focused on the integration of prior knowledge in deep learning models for climate prediction. More information: here.
Attended KDD 2024 to present research and engage with the data mining and knowledge discovery community.
